Snowdrops have always felt like a promise kept—the first brave blooms to emerge when winter still lingers. Just when the cold feels endless, these tiny white flowers push through the frost, quietly declaring that spring is on its way. They’re a lesson in resilience and hope, thriving in moments when most things still rest.

Galanthus nivalis. Native to Europe and naturalized throughout North America, snowdrops are among the earliest flowering plants to appear at the end of winter. Their bell-shaped blooms nod gently toward the earth, a humble symbol of renewal and endurance.
