The Postal Service has released Florentine Madonna and Child, a Christmas stamp showcasing a 15th-century painting that depicts the Virgin Mary gazing at the Christ child.
The stamp was dedicated Oct. 18 at the National Postal Museum in Washington, DC.
Capital Metro Area VP Linda Malone, who spoke at the dedication ceremony, said the stamp is perfect for extending Christmas greetings to family, friends and loved ones.
Other speakers included Chief Human Resources Officer Jeffrey Williamson, Italian America magazine editor Miles Fisher, and Gretchen Hirschauer, an associate curator for the National Gallery of Art, where the painting shown on the stamp is part of the Widener collection.
Art historians have long sought to identify the artist who created the painting, which dates to circa 1470.
Early in the 20th century, the painting was attributed to the Florentine artist Pier Francesco Fiorentino, but it was soon seen instead as the work of another anonymous painter who had created many?paintings in the same style.

Nice once put together.

I really enjoyed these ones. They got put up, putting them together was a two-man task and not very easy at all. They work really good. They're very heavy duty. You can hang things on them. I kick mine out of the way and they work like a charm!

Easy assemble and not to big!

I bought this because I fo a lot of zoom/teams meetings and work just mandated no false backgrounds (don’t ask) soooo to hide my real home and allow others to roam free while I work I got this. Easy to assemble although you will need some space. I thought I might be to big at 11’ wide as I have a small desk area but actually it’s perfect and could use a couple more panels. Leaves just enough room so I’m not completely cocooned - I can move my chair and get up walk behind chair and exit space. Great deal and tax deductible!

Fair Quality, Hour and a half build

Key things: It does (more or less, not completely) fold in on itself, it does block nearly all visibility (especially from an angle), it was only about an hour and thirty minutes to put together, and it is light weight.
