These plates are mounted beneath the OEM bumper tabs, repairing the hole tab and adding thickness to the main tab area that comes into contact with the fender. These plates are mounted beneath the OEM bumper tabs, repairing the hole tab and adding thickness to the main tab area that comes into contact with the fender. This lifts up the bumper and eliminates any gaps between the front bumper and fender.

The front bumper mounts to the bumper retainer brackets via the lumps located on top of the side of the front bumper. In some situations, these lumps can wear down or break off. These repair plates are designed with slits in the same locations as the lumps and are able to be bent upwards to act as replacement 'lumps' to hook back into the bumper retainer brackets.

These plates also stiffen up the side bumper tabs to help the teeth lock into the retainer brackets.

To install, simply sand down & clean surfaces on the damaged bumper tabs and the repair plates. Then simply glue the plates in place.?ÿApply evenly spread pressure with clamps?ÿwhilst itƒ??s drying.
