The black checkered grip plates and the Hitler Youth diamond are excellent. The original black enamel scabbard paint is a solid 90% intact. The blade has been shortened by about ¼ of an inch (6.35mm). The blade itself measures 5 ¼ inches (13.33cm) long, with the whole knife measuring in at 9 ½ inches (24.13cm) long. The blade has slight sharpening on the edge. We are uncertain as to how the blade was shortened. The blade does have a very clear RZM number under the crossguard. The RZM M7/51 and the date 39 can be clearly read. This is the contract number for Anton Wingen, Jr. of Solingen. The brown leather belt loop and retaining strap show only light wear. Overall, it is in very sound condition. It is priced according to condition.
