George Whitefield (1914-1770) was a prominent 18th Century evangelist. Randall Pederson (PhD from Leiden University) is the managing editor of the Westminster Theological Journal and co-author of Meet the Puritans. He is a graduate of Calvin Theological Seminary and Leiden University, and passes his time reading old, dead theologians.
