And who is there to help? Exactly, the people of the DLRG, the world's largest water rescue organisation. In all weathers.
Even though everyone knows the DLRG and its beach posts, the flags and the boats, only a few people realise that the numerous rescuers work exclusively on a voluntary basis. They save over a thousand people from drowning every year.
The DLRG relies on donations for the special equipment, boats, basic and advanced training of the rescuers.

The shirts are dark blue, like the SPO water rescue jackets, and have a neon yellow NØRD print - inspired by the buoys in SPO. It looks great together!
There is also a small neon yellow "WATERKOOG x DLRG SPO" print on the sleeve.
If anyone asks you about it, you can tell them more about the great voluntary commitment of the DLRG!
To make sure you always know what the flags on the beach are for, a map with a small overview is included with every order.
For the members of the DLRG SPO we have developed special shirts that you can't buy (Lifesaver). But if you see people wearing this shirt, you can simply give them a pat on the back or say "thank you".
We just think it's great that people are so committed, don't you? We'll introduce you to some of these people on our Insta - stay tuned!
