Light: Strelitzia alba loves light and will thrive in bright, indirect light, but it can also handle some direct sun. The more light it gets, the stronger and faster it will grow. While it can tolerate slightly lower light, growth may slow and leaves may be smaller. A spot near a sunny window is ideal.

Water: Water your Strelitzia when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. It enjoys regular watering during the growing season (spring and summer), but it’s important not to let it sit in soggy soil. In winter, reduce watering and allow the soil to dry out more between drinks. It appreciates a bit of humidity, but it’s forgiving in normal home conditions.
