Healthgevity NMN 1000+ CapsulesNicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN): 1,000mg Key Benefits: Boosts NAD+ Levels: NMN is a direct precursor to NAD+, an essential molecule for energy production and cellular repair. Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN): 1,000mg

Key Benefits:

  • Boosts NAD+ Levels: NMN is a direct precursor to NAD+, an essential molecule for energy production and cellular repair. By replenishing NAD+, NMN combats age-related declines in mitochondrial function and supports optimal metabolism.
  • Supports Longevity Pathways: NMN activates sirtuins, enzymes that regulate DNA repair, inflammation control, and cellular health.
  • Enhances Physical and Cognitive Performance: Higher NAD+ levels improve endurance, recovery, and brain function.

Scientific Evidence:

  • Studies show NMN supplementation restores NAD+ levels, improving mitochondrial function and lifespan in animal models[1]
  • Human trials demonstrate NMN's ability to enhance blood flow and muscle oxygenation[2]

Trimethylglycine (TMG) (as Betaine Anhydrous): 500mg

Key Benefits:

  • Supports Methylation Processes: TMG acts as a methyl donor, critical for processing homocysteine into methionine. This helps maintain healthy DNA and supports NMN's conversion into NAD+.
  • Protects Cells from Stress: TMG stabilizes proteins and cell membranes under osmotic stress, ensuring cellular integrity.
  • Supports Heart and Liver Health: Helps support homocysteine levels and cardiovascular risk factors.

Scientific Evidence:

  • Research highlights TMG's role in enhancing cellular methylation and metabolic efficiency[3][4]
  • TMG improves physical endurance and energy production in athletes[5]

Pterostilbene: 50mg

Key Benefits:

  • Antioxidant Powerhouse: A more bioavailable analog of resveratrol, pterostilbene neutralizes free radicals and protects against oxidative damage.
  • Activates Sirtuins: Supports longevity by enhancing sirtuin activity, which depends on NAD+.
  • Supports Cognitive Function: Protects brain cells from age-related decline, enhancing memory and focus.

Scientific Evidence:

  • Studies suggest pterostilbene is more bioavailable and effective than resveratrol at promoting cellular health[6][7]
  • Pterostilbene has anti-inflammatory effects, supporting cardiovascular and brain health[8]

Apigenin: 50mg

Key Benefits:

  • Inhibits CD38: Apigenin blocks CD38, an enzyme that depletes NAD+ levels, ensuring more NAD+ is available for critical cellular processes.
  • Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Supports chronic inflammation, a key driver of aging and age-related diseases.
  • Protects Against Oxidative Stress: Enhances cellular resilience by reducing oxidative damage to DNA, proteins, and lipids.

Scientific Evidence:

  • Research confirms apigenin's ability to inhibit CD38 and increase NAD+ availability[9][10]
  • Apigenin also shows neuroprotective effects, supporting healthy brain aging[11]

The Synergy of Science

By combining these four powerhouse ingredients, NMN 1000+ supports NAD+ production through multiple pathways:

  • NMN: Directly replenishes NAD+ levels.
  • TMG: Facilitates NMN metabolism via methylation.
  • Pterostilbene: Protects and enhances NAD+ and Sirtuin activity.
  • Apigenin: Reduces NAD+ depletion by inhibiting CD38.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
