Charles H. Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a British Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the 'Prince of Preachers.' Jason K. Allen is the fifth president of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Mo. Since coming to Midwestern, he has led the institution to become one of the largest and fastest growing seminaries in North America. In addition to his role as president, Dr. Allen serves as an associate professor for preaching and pastoral ministry.
