The KP 1100 was released in 1985, and was then replaced by the identical Kenwood KP 9010 in 1988. These highly sort after units were engineered for longevity, stability and excellent sound quality. Hidden under the plinth is a large X shaped die cast frame which is the centre of Kenwoods closed loop frame

This is a used unit.
- This turntable shows a small amount of wear from general use over the years. This includes some light marks and nicks. The most obvious wear is that one of the silver button caps is missing. Overall it is still a nice piece. Please see photos for further details.
- Please note that in some photos the plinth looks black, however it does have that beautiful dark woodgrain colour.
- The dust cover on this unit not hinged and in good condition. It has lots of general scratches and marks. No major damage. Overall it is great to protect your new turntable while not in use and during transport.
- This unit will ship with an ADC headshell and Audio Technica cartridge and stylus. These have been used but are good to get you started.
- This KP-9010 has been thoroughly serviced and tested. It has no faults to note and is working as it should. The service included a thorough test, replace faulty switches, adjust lifter mechanism, grease main spindle bearing and calibrate end detect voltages.
- Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale here. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
- If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
- This sale is for the KP-9010, Headshell, 45 adaptor and AT cart. Nothing else is included in this sale.
