Alvin’s blistering performance at the Woodstock Festival in 1969 is considered by many as the pinnacle of his career. The eleven-minute number ‘I’m Going Home’ was to become Ten Years After’s signature song and was prominently featured in the Woodstock movie released the following year.

However, feeling increasingly confined within the band’s musical style, Alvin was soon looking for new challenges to express his creative versatility.

For his first project, he recorded the studio album ‘On The Road To Freedom’ with gospel singer Mylon LeFevre. Shortly after (in response to a dare by a friend) he assembled a nine-piece band for a one-off performance at London’s legendary Rainbow Theatre on March 22, 1974. The show was released in November 1974 as the double live album ‘In Flight’ by Alvin Lee & Co.

Alvin was so pleased with this new musical direction that decided to take the show on tour. The band included two musicians from the Rainbow show (Ian Wallace - drums, and Mel Collins - sax and flute; both Ex-King Crimson), two former members of Stone The Crows (Ronnie Leahy - keyboards, and Steve Thomson - bass), as well as Brother James - percussion, and backing vocalists Donnie Perkins and Juanita Franklin.

Rehearsals took place in October and November 1974, and shows in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the UK were followed by a string of appearances in the States; including an evening at the Academy of Music in New York (later to be renamed the Palladium), on January 18th, 1975.

This event was chosen to be recorded on state-of- the-art equipment of its day, and a few of those songs were later broadcast on the ‘King Biscuit Flower Hour’.

After rediscovering the original 16-track master tapes in his personal archive in 2012, Alvin arranged to transfer and professionally mix these recordings with all mod-cons, thus benefiting from combining the forte of both eras. The result is a collection of jazzy, funky and mellow performances; thirteen selected tracks played by a world class band made up of talented musicians at their peak with Alvin leading expertly through tasteful guitar work and outstanding vocals.

Elegant and easy to customize to organize your desk
Color: Black, Color: Black
This desk organizer was higher quality and more elegant looking than I thought it would be, so I decided to use it to hold some things on my dresser. It’s too pretty to hide away in my drawer. The compartments snap into place with magents so you can adjust based on how you want to organize your items. The tray itself is heavy, durable, and well-made. The compartments and edges seem to be authentic wood, and the base surface of the tray is a rubber-like surface that keeps things from slipping while still looking very nice. I like this tray enough to put it on display as a part of my home decor. It’s not only useful for organizing some odds and ends, but is also very beautiful and well made.

Stylish Aesthetic with Functional Limitations
Color: Black
This desk organizer offers a sophisticated look that complements modern furniture and decor quite well. The combination of aluminum and walnut creates a professional appearance that effectively tidies up a workspace or nightstand. I particularly appreciate the soft-touch base, which provides a safe surface for delicate items like phone screens or watches, ensuring they remain free of scratches. Additionally, the materials are very easy to wipe down and maintain. However, the build quality does not entirely justify the premium price point. The aluminum components feel more like thin, shaped sheet metal rather than a solid, high-end material. While the walnut accents are a nice touch, they lack the weight and substance I expected for a valet tray in this category. The primary functional drawback lies in the magnetic adjustment system. The magnets are relatively weak, meaning that accidentally bumping a divider while reaching for an item can easily shift the layout. This requires frequent readjustments, which can be frustrating during a busy workday. Furthermore, the magnetic rails can interfere with other metallic or magnetic objects you might try to store. If you are looking for a purely aesthetic upgrade to organize lightweight items, this tray serves that purpose, but it falls short in terms of stability and material density.

Love the customizable dividers
Color: Black, Color: Black
I really like this desk drawer organizer tray. It comes with two removable adjustable dividers that are magnetic. They have a strong magnetic pull and stay in place and do not move or shift at all. I love the overall look of it. It’s very sophisticated looking. It can be suitable for a man or a woman. If it’s into my drawer perfectly and I love the smooth modern design of it.

A nice customizable organizer.
Color: Black, Color: Black
This is a nice organizer for a drawer or nightstand. Comes in a box that is not overly bulky and is well protected. It's quick and easy to adjust and put together. the seperators are magnetic so you can customize it to fit your needs. There are two cut outs for charging cords and it fits a phone easily along with other accessories. The unit feels solid and well built, it has a good weight to it. I do wish the deviders were a bit easier to get square, but that's more just my idiosyncrasies.

Nice Desk Organizer
Color: Black, Color: Black
This particular desk organizer has the little strips of wood that each have a magnet installed inside them. This allows you to move the wood strips to different locations and adjust the areas to fit whatever size item you want to put in there. It's very easy to just move them around and the bottom of the tray has a nice material in it that prevents scratching the items you place in there. The usable area on the tray is 12-1/2" x 8-1/4" x 3/4" and the overall size is 13-5/8" x 8-3/8" x 1". It fits nicely in drawers or simply having it sit on top of a desk to hold items. It also is made out of good quality and is very sturdy.
