BEHIND THE SHOT
This venue was fairly easy to move around in compared to some of the others so getting the close-up shot was easier. I love the way the light highlights the brilliant color of his hair in this photo.
When I came to this show for the first--of four-- times, I was expecting to see "Ziggy" in some form, but instead, David presented as this charismatic jaunty character. It was a total shock, but I very quickly came to appreciate his new developing persona which over the next year became the "Thin White Duke."
