Threads

We offer many different types of thread choices to accommodate our customers throughout the USA. We maintain a card file in our office with thread types used by various cities throughout the USA.

Our standard threads are NST (NH). They will typically ship quicker. NSPH can be supplied for no additional charge. If your thread type is not shown below, please give us a call to discuss your requirements.

  • National Standard Thread (NST), also known as National Hose thread (NH). It is the most common type of fire hose coupling used in the United States.

Laser Engraving

We also offer custom laser engraving of your adapters. If you require this option, please select that option and type in the box the name or initials you want laser engraved. The size of your adapter limits us on how many letters/numbers we can engrave. Laser engraved adapters are not subject to cancellation or return.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are variable by the size, and thread types you select. If you require any adapter in a rush, please give us a call, and we will be most happy to contact our factory for a lead time.

We are adapter specialists. Our goal is to help you order the correct adapter the first time. However, many adapters are made to order. Unfortunately, they are not subject to cancelation or return once your order has been submitted. I've been using Brita pitchers for years and these replacement filters continue to be one of the easiest and most affordable ways to improve the taste of regular tap water without installing a full filtration system. The biggest improvement is definitely the taste. After installing a fresh filter, the water tastes noticeably cleaner and smoother, getting rid of that strong chlorine smell or metallic aftertaste. These standard filters reduce chlorine taste and odor along with impurities like copper, cadmium, and mercury using activated carbon and ion-exchange resin technology. They're also BPA-free and designed to last up to 40 gallons or about two months per filter. The installation is simple and quick compared to older filter designs. I liked that these no longer require lengthy presoaking and the pull-top cap makes removal easier when it's time to swap filters. The 4 pack is also convenient because it lasts several months for an average household, making it more economical than constantly buying bottled water. My only complaint is that sometimes the water will run through very quickly and other times not so much which makes it harder to discern whether the filter is working effectively. Aside from tha, it seems like a simple and affordable everyday water filter.
