Compound Information

This listing is for Pagid Racing compound RSL D1. Each Pagid Racing compound has its own friction profile and intended use, so compound choice should always match the vehicle setup and driving environment.

Technical Description

Designed as the dedicated rear‑axle performance compound, the Pagid Racing RSL D1 is engineered to balance stability, control, and consistency in endurance and sprint competition. As part of the RSL family, it inherits the core attributes of longevity, modulation, and rotor protection but optimized specifically for rear-brake dynamics. The RSL D1 emphasizes low pad and rotor wear, making it ideal for multi-session events and minimizing maintenance downtime. Its friction curve is tuned to be slightly progressive, giving drivers a smooth transition into full braking. With a lower baseline friction level than front pads, the RSL D1 helps preserve vehicle balance and reduces rear lock-up under heavy braking so is often paired with more aggressive front compounds to fine-tune braking balance and maximize stability in corner entry.

Good history of the court despite some bias
Format: Hardcover
This was a very interesting history of the court and a fairly good account of how it had changed as well as in other ways not changed over 2 centuries. In the final part regarding the current court, it is apparent that the author is not even handed regarding his analysis of the current justices and decisions, especially regarding anything involving President Trump. Overall, scholarly and well cited with much good analysis and explanation, at least through 80% or so of the book.

Even handed approach and approachable
Format: Kindle
The accolades provided by the book reviewers are accurate. This is accessible, non-partisan and shows a keen understanding of how our legal system has developed over the history of the US. As a practicing attorney, I found myself exclaiming over and again "wow, I didn't realize that!" throughout the read. I studied many of the cases he discusses in law school. I've read other books about the Supreme Court included Wm. Rhenquist's History of the Supreme Court and The Bretheren. Even though I was a serious student, I was enlightened by the author's telling of the story. Like a good history book, this is well-researched.

A must read at a good cost
Format: Hardcover
A recent release and should be read by everyone in order to understand the history on why we have a Supreme Court, why it is the most powerful in the world, its origins, why our founding fathers believed it was necessary and how it addressed significant events in our country's history; paperbound is the best and a good price for an depth analysis or such an important institution

You don't have to be a lawyer to read this
Format: Hardcover
I typically read my non-fiction books from cover to cover, but not this one. I'm using it as mainly a reference book. I thought the author might exhibit some 'left coast bias' but I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.
