In the background trees grow in the sand alongside a few 'arish huts made from palm fronds. This image was taken between December 20, 1948, and January 27, 1949, during which time Wilfred Thesiger stayed with Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in Al Ain and joined him on a number of hunting excursions.Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.

Small but great book!

It came with a little tear in the book cover. It's a nice little book for Simpson's fans. Please keep in mind that this book is small. It could almost fit in the back pocket of a pair of jeans.

Great book, but no new info for a huge Homer fan...
Format: Hardcover
Neat book, but anyone who is a huge Homer fan, like my husband (who the book was for) will not learn anything new - so I am told. Although there is a ton of great info in there about Homer and his friends/everyday life, it's a huge disappointment to hear that he already knows everything in the book. I guess that's a super-fan for you!
