RECORD STORE DAY 2020 RELEASE. WHITE VINYL 2xLP. EDITION OF 700.

STARTING THE DAY WITH 1 COPY.

"The Verlaines are a rock band from Dunedin, New Zealand. Formed in 1981 by principle songwriter Graeme Downes, the band was named after the French poet Paul Verlaine, from from whom Television’s Tom Verlaine also lifted his stage name. The Verlaines are also one of the pioneers of the cult-followed 'Dunedin Sound' which was lifted from the explosion of talent coming out of their hometown in the ‘80s and ‘90s. The Chills, The Clean, Bailter Space, The Bats, The 3D's and the Straitjacket Fits all came roaring out of this University town.

The Verlaines’ angular sound made them favorites of bands like Pavement, R.E.M., Superchunk, Cat Power, The Mountain Goats, Will Oldham, Yo La Tengo, Lou Barlow and many others. Uncut Magazine suggested that "before the mp3 replaced the flexidisc, the three axes of the international indie-pop underground were Olympia WA, Glasgow, and Dunedin, New Zealand." From 1985 to 2012, The Verlaines have released eleven albums, most of which are on the legendary New Zealand label Flying Nun. There was a brief period in the early to mid 90's when the band released albums for Slash and Columbia Records, only to go back to Flying Nun for 2012's Untimely Mediations.

Dunedin Spleen is The Verlaines’ first studio album in over seven years. Featuring a blistering and brilliant nineteen tracks, this double-LP will be exclusively released on Record Store Day 2020 via North Carolina indie Schoolkids Records. Limited edition white vinyl, gatefold 2xLP, download card included."

Good shirt
Size: Small, Color: Black
Very nice shirt, I usually wear medium but I had to get one size smaller. The small men size fits my collar great but the dryer might shrink it.

It’s not Polo but a good shirt
Size: X-Large, Color: White
I too thought it was Ralph Lauren Polo but found out that it was US Polo Association. It is a bit boxy but fits well. It is a good quality shirt and a good value for the price. Runs true to size.

Cute and stylish
Size: Large, Color: Aqua Light
Got this classic polo for my husband and he’s genuinely impressed. The fit is clean without being too tight, and the fabric feels soft but still holds its shape after washing, which is a big win. It has that polished, casual look that works for both everyday wear and slightly dressier occasions. He also mentioned it’s really comfortable, not stiff or scratchy like some polos can be. Overall, great quality for the price and definitely something he’ll keep reaching for.

Great everyday polo
Size: XX-Large, Color: White
I picked up the U.S. Polo Assn. Men’s Classic Two-Button Pique Polo as a casual summer and golf shirt and ended up wearing it far more than I expected. The fit is true to size with a comfortable classic cut that isn’t too slim or baggy, and the lightweight pique cotton feels breathable and perfect for warm weather, whether you’re on the course or just running errands. For the price, the quality really surprised me—the fabric feels durable yet soft, the collar keeps its shape after washing, and the stitching looks solid without feeling cheap. The style is simple and versatile, easy to pair with jeans, shorts, or chinos, and the logo is noticeable but not over the top. After several washes there’s been no major shrinking or fading, especially when washed cold and air dried. Overall, this is an affordable, comfortable, and reliable polo that looks good and holds up well, and I’ll definitely be buying more colors.
