ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Your health depends far more on your behavior than on genetics or luck.

Obesity, hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, back problems, and a host of other conditions are only some examples of chronic pathologies that are part of daily life for too many people.

And what is conventional medicine's response to this epidemic of diseases? Treat the symptoms and not the causes, which keeps us alive... and sick.

When we look for culprits it's tempting to blame our genetics. However, we now know that the mismatch between our lifestyle and what our genes expect is what makes us sick. Those genes were forged in adversity, producing protective responses to environmental challenges such as cold, heat, or involuntary fasting due to food scarcity.

These responses made our ancestors people of robust health. Today, however, we endure marathon days sitting, chronic stress, food that fattens but does not nourish, all under the promise of happiness that never arrives.

The solution is not a "miracle pill" but to incorporate into our daily lives the stimuli our genes are prepared to respond to. This is called hormesis and is based on the old popular wisdom of "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

Combine that with reconnecting with nature, a diet based on real food, and ancient breathing techniques... and you'll raise your health and well-being to a higher level.

Fantastic Book!
Format: Paperback
“This book is such an amazing, thought-provoking, raw, and beautifully written novel. I thoroughly enjoyed every page and truly could not put it down. The characters came alive in such a vivid and unforgettable way that I was genuinely sad when the story ended, and I cried so much at the end. It pulled at my heartstrings in the most beautiful, poignant, and emotionally honest way. A truly unforgettable read.”

emotionally rich but overly long.
Format: Kindle
Where the wildflowers grow has some generally moving moments, especially around grief, healing, and found family. The flower farm setting is comforting, and Leigh’s trauma feels authentic. However, the pacing is slow in the middle. Some of the plot twist are fairly predictable. I felt the love between Leigh and Jackson was moving, and I felt her healing with Tibbs and Luke was very emotional. The book lies heavily into melancholy, but I I’m glad that I read it. I didn’t feel like it was a complete waste of time. I just wish it was maybe a little shorter.

Wildflowers
Format: Kindle
This book was really good, it's definitely a love story, I enjoyed the story line. It definitely took a while for it to come out, but I had my suspicions along the way. It's a long book but it was a quick read for me.

A Beautiful Story of Healing and Hope
Format: Kindle
Where the Wildflowers Grow is a tender and beautifully written story about survival, healing, and unexpected love. Leigh has endured unimaginable loss, and her time on the flower farm becomes the pause her spirit needs. I loved this story as my heart ached at Leigh’s journey. Jackson is a beautiful soul who understands the work of healing and helps her feel seen and alive again. The book is filled with learning nuggets and gentle reminders, including my favorite line: “You are more than the sum of your struggles.” A beautiful reminder that something new can bloom after heartbreak.

Raw, Real and worth the read!
Format: Kindle
There are very few books that pull you in so deeply that you forget you are reading fiction, but Where the Wildflowers Grow did exactly that for me. The story felt raw, honest, and incredibly human. At times, Leigh’s pain, trauma, and hidden struggles were written with such depth that it felt less like reading about a character and more like walking alongside a real person learning how to survive and heal. What stood out to me most was Jack’s patience and gentleness throughout Leigh’s journey. His ability to love her through the walls she built around herself was both heartbreaking and beautiful. Their relationship wasn’t rushed or unrealistic; it showed the slow, difficult process of trust, healing, and emotional growth in a way that felt authentic. One of my favorite parts of the book was the symbolism surrounding flower gardening and growth. As someone who loves gardening, the euphemisms woven throughout the story connected with me on a much deeper level. The idea that people, much like flowers, need the right environment, care, patience, and time to bloom was beautifully portrayed. Healing was not shown as instant or perfect, but as something tender that requires nurturing through every season. This book left me emotional, reflective, and deeply connected to its message. It is a story about pain, love, patience, and the beauty that can still grow from broken places. I absolutely loved it and will be thinking about it for a long time.
