At its centre sits a beautiful foilcbacked paste stone displaying an enchanting peachy golden yellow hue. Alive with flashes of light the stone sparkles wonderfully, its hand cut facets and reflective foil backing creating a rich brilliance that was admired during the Georgian era. Long before modern gem synthesis, such paste stones were prized for their beauty and their ability to imitate the fire of precious gems.

Surrounding the glowing centre stone is a delicate halo of seed pearls. Their soft lustre provides a lovely contrast to the vibrant paste, creating a composition that feels both elegant and ethereal. The ring is created in warm 9 carat gold and features  decorative shoulders adorned with a trilogy ball motif. 

Romantic and full of character, this is a beautiful Georgian survivor. A jewel that captures the elegance and charm of the late 18th century. A true treasure.

WEIGHT: 4.7 grams approximately 

HALLMARKING:  Unhallmarked 9 carat gold 

CONDITION: The ring is in lovely antique condition with a fine patina to the entire piece including the paste stone and pearls. There is a historical sizing at the back of the band where a piece of gold has been added to enlarge the ring.

If you like it rough (enough)...
Style: Rough Exfoliation
Perhaps a tad rough for some, the Caveem scrubbers are ideal for me- rough, but not cheese-grater-aggressive. I have been using the first of my two pack for almost three months and, beyond a slight "softening" of the surface, it is in perfect shape- no deformation, no open seams, no tears, thin spots, or defects of any kind. It looks and works like near-new. The sponge is a great size for man hands- basically 6" x 4", and is thick enough to hold ample soap and water to cover quite a bit of skin without reloading. The strap is comfortable and sturdy and, perhaps trivial, but the colors are manly without branding with skulls or wrenches or some other compensatory masculine iconography! I am very satisfied and if they ever wear out, I will happily purchase again.
