The BBE Model 401 Unimax is a dual-channel audio signal processor from the early 1980s, developed around the introduction of BBE’s Sonic Maximizer process. It is designed to improve clarity and definition by adjusting phase relationships and frequency response within the audio signal.
The unit operates at line level and is housed in a 19-inch rackmount chassis, with analogue inputs and outputs for integration into studio or live sound systems.
Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- This unit shows some general wear like some scuffs, nicks and scratches. There are some scratches and light surface oxidisation on the top. There is a little rack rash. There is nothing which detracts from the use of the unit. Overall it is a nice piece. Please see photos.
- This unit is fully functional, all switches and pots function as they should.
- Please be aware, this unit is 100V. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on. If you are unsure about this feel free to send us a message as we would be glad to help you source the correct item. We also have some for sale Here.
