Flavius Julius Constans was born around 320 to Fausta and Constantine I. He became Caesar in 333, and when the empire was divided after Constantine .

In 340, Constantine II invaded Constans’ territory and was killed, so Constans became sole ruler in the west. He successfully fought the barbarians for the next ten years, but in 350 heard about the revolt of Magnentius and headed for Augustodunum. Constans fled to Spain, but was murdered in the Pyrenees at the fortress of Helene.Flavius Julius Constans or as he was simply known, Constans, was a Roman emperor who enjoyed quite a lengthy reign from the year 337 AD to the year 350 AD. He was born sometime in the year 320 AD (the exact date of his birth is unknown to this day) as the third and youngest son of the then Roman emperor Constantine I and his wife Fausta. Fausta was the second wife of Constantine I.

From the year 337 AD, Constans actually shared the rule over the entire Roman Empire equally with his two brothers, Constantius II and Constantine II. The relationship between the brothers was not all that amicable although it started that way. Constans and Constantine II in particular were given to violent confrontations.

Constantine II sought to take advantage of his younger brother's youth and relative inexperience in handling matters of the state, a treatment that eventually led to open warfare. Constantine II set forth to invade Italy in the year 340 AD but his younger surprised him with an astounding command over his armed forces. Their conflict led them to a battle in Aquileia where against all expectations, the younger brother along with his armed forces prevailed over the elder brother and Constantine II subsequently died from wounds that he received during the said battle.

The years from 341 AD to 342 AD found Constans engaged in yet another military campaign this time against the Franks. According to numerous reports from that period, this campaign was hugely successful and contributed further to his reputation as a formidable military leader.

While it was mentioned in the works of the writer Julius Firmicus Maternus that Constans visited Britain in the very early part of the year 343 AD, the writer did not go into detail about the Roman emperor's reasons for doing so. This visit to Britain has been recorded in various historical accounts as the last known visit of a Roman emperor to the country.

While the reason's for this journey has remained a mystery until this present time, some theories have been put forth regarding the reasons behind this journey. Some claim that it was a trip born out of the necessity of quashing a rebellion of some kind. Still other reports have suggested that it was in direct retaliation against the military advances of the Picts and the Scots.

In any case, it was known that he traversed the treacherous English Channel at a time when such a trip was particularly hazardous; during the bitter cold winter months. That he chose to undertake such a journey at a particularly dangerous time-along with the blinding speed in which he undertook the operation-suggests that it was a matter of extreme urgency, which bolstered that the theory that the journey was taken in response to a particularly pressing military emergency.

The year 350 AD brought a further conflict to Constans' immediate attention. The general Magnentius proclaimed himself the new rightful emperor and in a battle between the two factions, Constans was cornered and killed. He died in the year 350 AD.

Hyper Pet Tennis Balls for Dogs: Because Every Dog Deserves to Play Fetch Like a Pro
Color: Green, Size: Regular 2.5" - 12 Pack
If your dog had a bucket list, fetching tennis balls would probably be near the top. And if that’s the case, then the Hyper Pet Tennis Balls are their VIP ticket to Fetch World. These little balls of joy are the real deal, perfect for small breeds that are living their best life chasing after something that probably doesn’t need to be chased but is just so throwable. The 12-pack means you can never lose a ball again...unless, of course, it gets lost in a mysterious “dog dimension” where all the socks go. These 2.5-inch tennis balls are the right size for those dogs that aren’t quite large enough to play with the big leagues. Think of them as the perfectly sized appetizer for the full-on Fetch Feast. Plus, they’re made from non-toxic material, so your pup can gnaw on them all day without worrying about a tummy ache (unless they’re overzealous and gobble up the whole ball...don’t worry, I won’t judge). If your dog doesn’t love fetch yet, they will after these balls come into their life. They’re designed to be durable enough for constant chomping while still offering that classic “bounce, roll, and fetch” action that gets dogs going. Pros: • 12 balls = endless fetch sessions (until the dog gets tired, but let’s be honest, that’s probably never). • Perfect size for small breeds—no choking hazards, just good ol’ fun. • Non-toxic materials for guilt-free playtime. • They squeak. And we all know that squeak is like doggy kryptonite. • Durability means no more fetching balls that break after three tosses (we’ve all been there). Cons: • They might not hold up as well with very heavy chewers (but don’t worry, your dog won’t know the difference until they’ve already swallowed half of one). • They don’t come in tennis-ball-flavor. If they did, I think we’d all be out of a job. If you’re looking to upgrade your dog’s fetch game (or just keep them entertained while you catch up on your own Netflix binging), these Hyper Pet Tennis Balls are a solid choice. Plus, your dog will be too busy fetching to judge your questionable snack choices.

Prefect for smaller dogs to play
Color: Green, Size: MINI 1.75" - 12 Pack
The only balls my sato mix will fetch! They are a bit smaller than regular balls and are more comfortable in my dogs smaller mouth (she is about 20 lbs). Great bounce and durability, highly recommend!

Perfect Size - No Squeakers (yay)
Color: Pink, Size: MINI 1.75" - 4 Pack
My 9 lb. Chi-Mix adores her little toy balls. Perfect for her small size (or a medium dog) and full of bounce. I didn't want squeakers because I knew it would drive me nuts. No squeakers in these balls. Perfect training tool to teach fetch. Perfect toys to have play time with your pooch.

Nice and bright
Color: Orange, Size: MINI 1.75" - 4 Pack
These are great to fit the ball shooter I use with my dogs. Color orange makes it easy to find in grass or dirt. Problem is I have a chewer. He loves to chew on the ball and eat the orange fiber. So, the balls get wrecked and I have to replace. Gets costly. I wish they made this same size ball without the orange furry tennis-ball like covering. Maybe the toys would last longer.

Safe for dogs
Color: Green, Size: Regular 2.5" - 4 Pack
Much better for dogs than used/dirty tennis balls. Worth the money for safety.
