Just wash your down item with Nikwax Down Wash Direct, skip drying, and run a washing machine load with Down Proof as the detergent. It's that straightforward to enhance your gear's performance.
How to Use
- First, wash your down piece with Down Wash & skip the drying step
- Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
- Place clean item in the washing machine (maximum 1 item).
- Use 150ml for 1 item.
- Run 30°C synthetic cycle and slow spin.
- After the cycle has finished run multiple spin cycles, each time incrementally increasing the spin speed, to remove excess water.
- Dry using a tumble dryer on low heat with a few clean tennis balls. These help break up the clumps of down
- Incrementally pull your garment out and manually pull apart down clumps to speed up the drying process
