98 – 105 days. Prism Sunshine petunia seeds are a gorgeous and award-winning compliment to any home or garden for dazzling season-long brilliance. The Prism Sunshine petunia debuted as both an All-American Selections Bedding Plant Winner and Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner for its “earliness to bloom from May through October” and because it “does not fade or turn brown.” Prism Sunshine seeds grow convenient 10 – 12” tall petunias bursting with classic 3” creamy golden yellow and canary blooms. Award-winning Prism Sunshine petunia seeds are summer hardy and ideal as ground cover for flower beds, walkways, and fences, but fragrant enough to keep up on the patio or indoors for an authentic summertime aroma. 1000 pelleted seeds.

Growing Prism Sunshine Petunia Garden Seeds

  • Taxonomy: Petunia x hybrida
  • Other Names: Grandiflora Single Petunia
  • Seed Type: Annual (Perennial in zones 10 – 11)
  • Sow Indoors or Outdoors: For earliest blooming, start Prism Sunshine petunia seeds indoors 10 – 12 weeks before the final frost and transplant once there are two sets of true leaves. Prism Sunshine seeds will germinate within 14 days with full lighting. If transplanting outside, harden off seedlings into a partially shaded spot in the garden, or an equally moderate place indoors.
  • Days to Maturity: 98 – 105 days
  • Hardiness Zone: 6 – 11
  • Planting Depth: Plant 2 – 3 seeds ¼” deep
  • Plant Spacing: 10”
  • Growth Habit: 10 – 12” tall mounding upright with a 10 – 12” spread of classic 3” petunia blooms
  • Soil Preference: Average, medium moist, well-drained
  • Light Preference: Full sun – Partial shade
  • Diseases/Pests/Troubleshooting: Avoid overhead watering to minimize wetting foliage as Prism Sunshine petunia seeds are susceptible to fungal and leaf diseases and gray mold if not properly ventilated. Plants are known to be susceptible to blight and tobacco mosaic virus, since Petunia x hybrida is closely related to the tobacco plant. Prism Sunshine petunias will benefit from shade and deadheading as they begin to decline as autumn nears. Petunias have no serious pests, but monitor regularly for aphids, flea beetles, slugs and snails.
  • Color: Creamy golden yellow and canary blooms with distinct “veins” throughout the petals

Prism Sunshine petunia debuted as both the 1998 All-American Selections (AAS) Bedding Plant Winner and 1998 Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner for its “earliness to bloom”, “floriferousness from May through October”, and because it “does not fade or turn brown.” Second only to impatiens in annual bedding plant sales, the petunia has been a popular plant for many years due in large part to its ease of culture and non-stop flowering from spring to frost. Petunia is a genus of 20 species native to South America and the genus is loosely derived from an old Guarani word meaning “tobacco” since the two plants are both in the nightshade family.

Best-in-class New Testament study
Format: Paperback
Excellent “Summa of the Summa” from NT Wright, a major modern theologian. Suitable for serious Catholic bible study, but not for lightweights. DVDs could be improved with more active material, and Bird’s Aussie accent is problematic for some US audiences.

I thought I was ordering the book, but got the workbook by accident. It looks really good! Keeping it, off to order the actual book instead. 🏃‍♀️

Chapter 24 missing from the book
Format: Paperback
A friend and I wanted to do this study of NT Wrights New Testament in It's World. It's a very large book and has 37 chapters. Well, last week when we were talking about the next chapters to read I realized I have 2 chapter 23 and chapter 24 is missing. Missing!! How do you have a 1000 page book and you're missing a chapter. I'm obviously after the point of getting a replacement from Amazon and the publisher will not replace it because I didn't purchase from them. What the heck. I'm very disappointed. The book is wonderful and I want to be made whole. I've submitted 2 requests to Amazon (one today and one 5 days ago) and have not heard anything from them. If you buy this book, look through and make sure you have all the chapters you are supposed to have.
