The occasional faded streak is acceptable and adds to the vintage finish. Selvedges may become frayed after stone washing. Stonewashed fabric is wonderfully soft and drapes beautifully as curtains but it may have quite a bit of 'stretch' which could make it unsuitable for blinds in some circumstances.
