ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Discover emotional gymnastics to bring fulfillment and well-being to your life.

Are you always rushing around, lacking energy, and with a lump in your throat? How long has it been since you stopped to listen to yourself and ask what you need? Our brain just wants to keep us alive, but in a fast-paced world, that programming pushes us toward anxiety and disconnects us from our essence.

But we can learn another way of living.

Gaby Hostnik, a specialist in applied neuroscience, presents emotional gymnastics: a method that guides you through seven pillars to regain presence, clarity, and meaning, and achieve lasting well-being; from orienting your life toward a purpose to cultivating circles of empathy, listening to your body, or training your neuroplasticity, and much more.

Well-being is not sought: it is cultivated. And it starts today.

"Throughout this book, we will explore, through theory and practice, the seven pillars that support true well-being. We will understand how to live a life with wisdom, intention, and focus. We will understand the dimensions that shape it: the emotional, the relational, the meaning of life, the physical body, and the environment.

Pillar 1: good living

Pillar 2: the emotional

Pillar 3: your purpose

Pillar 4: circles of empathy

Pillar 5: the body

Pillar 6: the environment

Pillar 7: neuroplasticity

This book is an invitation to prioritize yourself and give yourself a break to reconnect with yourself. Hopefully, throughout its pages, you will find clues and signs that will allow you to explore and embrace the search for that sense of well-being. Connecting the everyday with the transcendent: finding meaning in who we are and what we do every day."

Perfect casual Friday shoe with great comfort and style
Size: 10, Color: Optic White/Egret
These have quickly become my go-to shoes for casual Fridays at work. The fit is true to size, and they’re both comfortable and stylish without trying too hard. They pair really well with jeans or khakis, so they’re easy to dress up or down depending on the day.

Narrow and small
Size: 10.5, Color: Black/City Skyline/Egret
I mostly chose these due to the foam rubber soles, as I was looking for a more comfortable sneaker. They are more comfortable and the quality looks decent, too, although I wish the leather wasn't so shiny. The fit is quite narrow, and while they're okay for my narrow feet, I still wonder if the wider fit would have been better. This is my 2nd pair of Cole Haan sneakers and the first were too small. So this time I ordered the next size up and the fit is not much different, so I'd say they run small all around. Despite that, they're big enough and are still quite comfortable. Finally, the laces are too short. This is probably by design, so they're not dangling around, but I find them difficult to tie. They're nice, waxed laces, but they just need to be long enough to work with.
