Built with over 30 years of heritage in racing, TBM Brakes introduces its first purpose built street performance brake kit, the XS3 series featuring a 12.19" vented rotor. Designed to be the bridge between our lightweight single thickness steel racing brakes and the large diameter rotor street performance brakes commonly seen in late model vehicles while providing incredible stopping power.

This brake kit was specifically designed to give the ability to run smaller diameter / factory size wheels without sacrificing braking potential. We even found this kit able to work with many steel factory 15" wheels as well as drag racing wheels.

The XS3 Extreme Street caliper is an innovative new design built off principles and engineering from our line of racing calipers. This all billet caliper provides ultimate in strength for a better feel and performance. With a stronger bridge strength and more rigid caliper than most aftermarket aluminum calipers we are able to provide larger clamping force to achieve the brake torque to stop your vehicle. Choose your choice of color in powdercoat. 

12.19" Slotted & Vented Rotor Balances Weight and Durability

Our cast vented and slotted 12.19" rotor was designed to balance weight, stopping power, cooling ability, and looks while keeping the ability to package with most factory and aftermarket wheels 15" and larger. These rotors are black plated to protect against rusting / corrosion and look good before first use and beyond.

Proven Brake Pad Technology:

Utilizing the Hawk Performance HPS Ferro Carbon compound, this brake pad strikes the perfect balance of stopping potential without bringing noisy brake pads and large amounts of brake dust into play.

Billet TBM Brake Hats

Our billet aluminum brake hats remove the weight of a steel center all in one rotor while allowing for minor adjustment of axle offset thanks to our unique stepped mounting design.

Note: We do not recommend the use of silicone based brake fluid with these calipers. Only use approved DOT3, DOT4, or DOT 5.1 brake fluid. We recommend using TBM Extreme 6 Fluid for best results.

Birds seem to love it!

I grew up using homemade hummingbird food dyed a bright red color with koolaid or food dye. But for the first time in my adult life, I'm somewhere that has a lot of hummingbirds and I wanted to provide them with the best juice possible. I decided on this juice because I like that it has hummingbird friendly electrolytes and is in a concentrate so I can make my own preferred dilution. I am in a very hot desert climate so I've been doing a 1-3/3.5 ratio to help keep them extra hydrated and the hummingbirds and bees are loving it. We have four feeders. Two closer to the ground and two on our second floor balcony. The birds and bees have been visiting all four regularly and our cats are loving the show. I swear my youngest cat gets most excited about the bees. I know the bees are seen as problematic for most but the birds don't seem to mind them sharing a few feeding holes and we don't mind feeding the bees too. The bees are probably more important for our ecosystem than the birds anyway. I took away one star because the seals on the bottles aren't very strong and both had leaked during transit, one was very messy and crusted with dried sugar. Since these are technically supposed to be refrigerated after opening I probably should have returned them but upon reading the ingredients, I don't see a reason that they would have gone bad without showing obvious signs of spoilage. It's basically gatorade for birds. I even took a sip to see if I died. I was fine so figured it's fine for the birds too. If the next order is also leaking I'll consider going elsewhere but for now we have happy birds, bees and cats.

From what I've read, they are attracted to the color of the feeder more so than the smell of the nectar / food itself. I used this in a red hanging hummingbird feeder on a second-floor shaded balcony. The feeder had only been up a short time, and the nectar was accepted quickly. I observed hummingbirds visiting, perching, and drinking from the active lower tiers, so the product clearly did not discourage feeding. What I like most is the convenience. It is ready to pour, clear, and does not require mixing sugar and water. I also appreciate that it is not dyed red. The feeder itself provides enough red visual attraction, so colored liquid is not necessary. For a small balcony feeder, I only needed to fill the reservoirs about halfway, which helped keep the nectar fresh and reduced waste. A few practical notes: I still treat this like any hummingbird nectar and replace it regularly rather than letting it sit for many days. Even in shaded, mild weather, I would rather keep the feeder clean and fresh. The bottle should also be stored properly after opening. Overall, this is a good option if you want a simple ready-to-use nectar without mixing your own. Homemade sugar water is cheaper, but this is convenient, clean-looking, and in my case the hummingbirds used it. I would recommend it for someone who wants an easy pour-and-fill option, especially for a smaller feeder or balcony setup.
