Carli 2.5" SPEC Backcountry Leveling Suspension System 13-25 Ram 3500 6.7L CumminsThe Carli SPEC Backcountry Leveling system can best be described as being built for truck owners who "use their truck as a truck." The Carli-SPEC Backcountry Leveling system can best be described as being built for truck owners who "use their truck as a truck." So, what does this mean? The Backcountry is ideal for those who daily drive, tow, plus like to hit some trails on the weekends, but aren't looking to see daylight under the tires out in the dunes. The benefit of the Backcountry over the Commuter series is the remote reservoir that not only LOOKS cool but also allows the shock to maintain its temperature, meaning you won't experience shock fade when on rough surfaces for any extended period, as a traditional IFP shock will tend to do.

THE BEST RIDE ON AND OFF-ROAD

The Backcountry 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best ride on and off-road on a budget; perfect for those who want to have a little dirt-road fun in their 8,500lb truck without losing the on-road ride quality or usability for which the truck was designed. You're no longer limited to the highway while gravel roads become uninteresting as you can drive them at speed with one hand on the wheel. Utilizing Carli SPEC 2.0″ Diameter, Remote Reservoir shocks, Carli developed a tune that delivers all-around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in-town, highway, towing/hauling as well as slow to mid-speed off-road use. The remote reservoir Carli SPEC 2.0 boasts 6063 Aluminum construction, an anodized body for corrosion resistance, a 5/8″ hardened steel chrome plated shaft, full serviceability & rebuildability, and is built with 1-piece bushings in the 6061 billet rod-ends. These shocks are spec’d with a premium 5WT oil to balance lubricity, consistent damping, and the widest available range in temperature variation.

OPTIONAL TORSION SWAY BAR UPGRADE

The 2.5-inch leveling Systems do not require any sway bar geometry correction; customers are free to run the factory sway bar and links without risking damage. That said, the Torsion Sway Bar is a HUGE ride quality upgrade. Maintaining the factory sway bar is only recommended for customers requiring the stiff rate of the factory sway bar - i.e.: those with snow plows, in-bed campers, or who are constantly hauling to the capacity of the truck.

TORSION SWAY BAR SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Allows front suspension to move freely without giving up control
  • Requires removal of electronic sway bar on Power Wagons
  • Compatible with 0"- 4" Front Lift
  • Torsion Bar may be black or silver depending on supply-chain availability. NOT requestable

OPTIONAL RADIUS ARM DROP BRACKETS

The base kit does not require you to use radius arm drop brackets however, lifting the front 2.5" and maxing the caster correction (adjusting the cam-bolts to the rear of their adjustment) will provide sufficient caster to reach the Ram recommended alignment spec. This may cause a slightly coil bow but it's perfectly operable. If you'd prefer to achieve a proper caster spec with the cam-bolt in the middle of its range and want to guarantee a straight, non-bowing coil, these Radius Arm Drop Brackets are the answer. Additionally, if you want a little extra icing on the cake, add a set of Carli Fabricated Radius Arms. These arms add Limit Strap Protection for your Front Shocks, 1/4" Boxed Steel Construction, and Serviceable 3" - 17-4 Stainless Steel Spherical Bearings.

RADIUS ARM DROP BRACKET SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Maintains critical geometries with 2.5 - 4" Front Lift
  • Heavy-Duty Construction
  • Bolt-On installation, no welding required
  • Requires part CS-DCM-20-HK to fit 2020-2025 Rams, NOT included
FABRICATED RADIUS ARMS SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Massive strength upgrade vs. stock arms
  • Improved ride quality and control
  • Internal X-Bracing & Serviceable 17-4 stainless Spherical Joints
  • 10" Quad Wrap Limit Straps for 2.5" leveling systems

OPTIONAL RADIUS ARM DROP BRACKETS AND LOW MOUNT STEERING

Bolt in steering stabilizer (factory location). Adjustable from 70-200 psi to run neutral (no directional influence at 70psi) or at 200psi to counter the left-hand pull inherent to tires like Nitto Trail Grapplers. Run in conjunction with the Carli High Mount for the ultimate Dual, Opposing Steering Stabilizer combination that's infinitely adjustable.

LOW MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER:
  • Direct bolt-in replacement
  • Corrects left tire pull, adjustable
  • Inside the Carli stainless stabilizer

BILLET BLOCK AND U-BOLTS

In 2019, Ram lowered the rear of the 3500 trucks – for this reason, Carli is now providing a 1″ Billet Block and U-Bolts to fit the larger AAM 12″ Axle (4.25″ Axle Tubes). As the rear springs remain unmodified aside from the lift block, load capacity is maintained while predictability is improved. For those who aren’t looking for a massive increase in travel or big shocks but still desire a level stance and improved ride quality and handling characteristics, this is the perfect kit. The 2.5” lift height doesn’t require the geometry correction of their 3” Systems.

PAYLOAD TESTING

After a great deal of test runs with various weights loaded in the bed of Carli test truck, it was quickly determined that the factory payload was nearly untouched, given all of the updates Carli had made to the rear of the truck.

What would a Carli kit be if it weren't getting absolutely filthy out in the dirt or getting the shocks up to temperature? In true form, Carli made absolutely sure the truck could also perform offroad by making numerous trips to the deserts of Barstow, El Cajon and Phoenix to really confirm how the new packages worked. The conclusion? These trucks can boogie just like the previous years!

RECOMMENDED WHEEL AND TIRE:

  • 35" Tire
  • 18" wheel that's no more than 9" wide with 5.75"-6" Backspace
  • Recommended unloaded tire pressure is 45F/40R
  • This system will fit up to a 35" tire when utilizing wheels that are no more than 9" wide with 5.5-6" of backspacing. A 12.5" wide should fit with no rubbing on the factory radius arm and only minor trimming required, while a 13.5" will require more trimming and slightly more offset to fit properly. 35" tires will fit with VERY minimal, if any trimming. Carli recommends running an 18" diameter wheel for optimal ride quality (more rubber = better small bump compliance) on a 35" E-rated tire running 45psi front, 40psi rear when unloaded.

Bad auto driver install. Great mouse. Few of the left hand mfgs.
Style: Left-Handed, Pattern Name: Mouse, Color: Graphite
Really crappy auto driver install. Locked up my USB ports for my usb keyboard, usb mouse, all usb ports in fact. Had to reboot multiple times with an old style 5pin keyboard since the software screwed up my usb ports. All of them. Lucky I have a motherboard with an old style keyboard port. A reboot of W11 in safe mode, ripped out auto-installed software, registry keys and rebooted to regain control of my USB ports. I do not know what went wrong. Alls I know is Logitech loaded something, it locked up my USB ports and I had to rip everything Logitech out to get control again. I downloaded the software, installed it and it worked fine. I've had no problems since. I'm an old lefty and as such am ambidextrous in most areas, since there just was not left handed oriented items readily available. You had to have left handed stuff made so you learned to do things right handed. I've developed carpal tunnel in both elbows and had purchased a couple of vertical mice, one left and one right. I took the left into work and was looking for a replacement. My other two were around $30 ea. I liked the right handed vertical mouse (Anker). They do not make a left handed version. The left handed mouse is ok, not as good as the Anker. I decided to go above my spend tolerance and get the Logi after reading many reviews. It has not disappointed me. The auto-install sucked. Never letting that happen again. It is a nice smooth mouse. Fine movements that are easily adjustable. The hand position is excellent. I can use this all day without switching to the right because of elbow pain. If you have the pain, you know what I am talking about when it flares. It takes some getting used to the subtlety of the clicks when coming from lower cost mice. Soft and gently like a newborn's .... One of my big criteria for a vertical mouse is a landing area for the outer two fingers (pinky and next to pinky for finger orientation challenged). When you go to a vertical mouse, it takes some adjustment to moving the mouse since you can't really press down with your palm and inside two fingers (the ones next to the outside two fingers). It is helpful to be able to use the two outer fingers and thumb to aid in moving the mouse. You have to experience a vertical mouse to understand. The right handed only Anker goes from an inch to a half inch in the length of my pinky below the buttons on the side. This is a really nice landing area for the outside fingers to assist moving the mouse around. You can squeeze a little and the mouse glides. The Logi mouse is a wee shorter than the Anker and the area below the buttons in a mostly straight 3/4". Both mice curve quickly down to the inside below this area. I was used to a vertical mouse by the time I purchased the Logi and I have no issues with the pinky dragging the table and the finger next to pinky resting on the landing. I move the mouse with no problems. It is the subtlety of how one interacts with these style of mice. The big plus, takes a long time before mouse use causes pain flareups. And this isn't just a pain and done. Depending on how one ignores the pain, often determines how many days life sucks. The Logi mouse minimizes the flare ups. I'm thinking of taking the Anker in and getting a right handed Logi for home. I like the Anker, I'm frugal and highly recommend it for getting your feet wet. I love the Logi (auto-install sucks) and will probably ignore my frugal tendencies and get a right handed one since I don't switch hands as frequently with the Logi in the mix. Don't have to suffer auto-install either.

Shape can be a game changer to reduce arm/wrist pain
Style: Right-Handed, Pattern Name: Mouse, Color: Graphite
Very easy to setup with PC, whether by bluetooth, usb, wifi. It does take some time to get used to the new design. The scrolling is very good and all functions are extremely responsive. So far, it is not causing any strain to my arm and wrist which is why I am trying this design as my older, normal shaped mouse, was causing me arm pain. They should include a quick easy to understand information sheet about the buttons. Need to download in order to customize 2 other buttons. All in all, so far I like it and definitely suggest it for people having arm or wrist pain from the angle and position of a regular shaped mouse.

Wonderful!!
Style: Right-Handed, Pattern Name: Mouse, Color: Graphite
Update - After using this mouse for over a year I started experiencing something profoundly annoying. When dragging something from one place to another (often from monitor to monitor) I would accidentally hit one of the buttons by the thumb and it would close whatever I was working on. Especially during work where I do this often. I found there is an option to turn these buttons off in the software!!! Wonderful!!! That was the absolute only thing I was having an issue with. Longevity has been perfect and I'll confess, I'm not particularly regular about cleaning it. I would buy this mouse again in a heartbeat. I bought this at the same time (Feb '25) as the Logitech Ergo K860 Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard - Split Keyboard, for which I have also written a review. I cannot say enough good things about both of these products. My neck, shoulders and back feel so much better than with my previous setup. At the time of purchase, there were a number of reviews saying these failed fairly quickly. This has not been my experience and I am not very conscientious about cleaning it. After almost a year of heavy use (8-10 hrs a day), the batteries are at 30% which I don't think I can complain about. These products are not cheap, but for me they have been worth every penny and I cannot see myself going back. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Easy setup, beautiful red!
Color: Red, Color: Red
I needed a mouse for an assignment when I asked my son for his. I loved it so much that I needed to buy myself one. I bought the red to match my computer (and to know that the navy blue is my son's) and it's a very sleek, not tooo vibrant color. It does come with both an USB & USBC controller (see pictures) and mine connected FAST to my computer. It does NOT come with a battery (most mice won't) so please grab a DOUBLE AA battery before it comes in so you will be ready. I have no issues with the mouse and loved the price point on this one. It's light weight and easy to setup. Then again it was a plug in/play setup, so if you're not tech savvy, you won't have issues with this one. Just choose a color and get it!

Cut the Cord and Never Looked Back!
Color: Grey
I'd been using a wired mouse forever and kept telling myself the cord wasn't that annoying. Spoiler: it was. The moment I switched to the WisFox 2.4G Wireless Mouse, I realized what I'd been putting up with all along — and there's no going back now. Setup was dead simple. Plug the little USB receiver into the laptop, and it just works. No drivers to hunt down, no pairing headaches, no nonsense. The 2.4G connection is solid and responsive — I haven't noticed any lag or signal dropout, even when the receiver is tucked into a port on the back of the laptop. The cursor tracks smoothly across my desk surface without any skipping or stuttering. The ergonomic shape is a genuine plus. It fits naturally in the hand during long sessions and doesn't leave my wrist feeling fatigued the way some flatter mice do. The buttons have a satisfying, tactile click without being loud enough to bother anyone nearby. My one gripe — and it's pretty minor — is that it runs on batteries, which means you'll eventually need to swap them out. It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch, and the battery life has been reasonable so far, but if you're used to a wired mouse that just runs forever, it's a small adjustment to keep a spare AA or two around. Pros: Instant plug-and-play setup with the USB receiver Reliable, lag-free 2.4G connection Comfortable ergonomic shape for extended use Great freedom of movement without cord clutter Cons: Runs on batteries — plan to keep a spare on hand If you're still tethered to a wired mouse and on the fence about making the jump, this is a solid, no-fuss way to do it. Hope this helps!
