-------------------------------------------------------

With this tour of history, map by map, discover the epic history of human exploration and migration and the stories of fearless pioneers the world over.

Charting everything from the movement of early Homo species out of Africa some 50,000 years ago to the astonishing voyages of Polynesian sailors across the Pacific from 4,000 BCE and from the California Gold Rush to the Race for Space, entries explain the movements of people and cultures who set off into the unknown - in search of adventure or a better life.

Specially commissioned maps show the key driving factors of each journey and why certain routes were chosen over others--whether due to climate, terrain, or territory--while contemporary examples offer fascinating insights into the unique worldviews and political motivations of the people who commissioned them and the cartographers who created them.

Packed with fascinating detail and bursting with illustrations, Exploration: Map by Map is a must-have title for anyone who loves maps, history, or the pioneering spirit.

Nice portable USB hub.
Style: 4-in-1 USB-C Hub
Nice little hub - output is 40 w though so a slow charger if using it to charge a phone off of a computer.

This hubs got what I need and drives seem to mount right away.
Style: 5-in-1 USB-C Hub
Might be a little early to write this review. But, I feel like I keep buying these types of hubs and they never seem to have the right configuration for what I need. Two USB-Cs, Two USBs and an HDMI. Appreciate that the ports are all on the same side so I don't have a spider web of cables going in every direction. They all fit rather snugly. MOST IMPORTANTLY, every external drive and flash drive seems to mount right away. I have had major frustrations over the years with external drives not mounting or taking forever to mount. I'm sure most of this is due to the failing drives themselves, but I have a sneaking suspicion the hubs are playing a role too, but I don't have the electrical engineering degree to prove it. Anyway, so far so good with this one.

Work as expected
Style: 4-in-1 USB-C Hub
Work as expected. Plug and play. For a USB-C hub, worth the price. Had no compatibility issues with my PC and a laptop. Haven't noticed any heat issues.

Fast, Reliable Performance
I bought the UGREEN USB C to Ethernet Adapter 2.5G, and it’s been a solid addition to my setup. The connection is stable and the speeds are impressive, data transfers feel quick and consistent without the drops you sometimes get on WiFi. It’s plug and play, which I appreciate, no hassle getting it up and running. The build quality also feels durable, which is something I’ve come to expect from UGREEN. Overall, it delivers exactly what it’s supposed to, fast, reliable wired connectivity. UGREEN continues to put out quality products, and I look forward to trying more from them.

Solid, Well‑Built Adapter with Excellent Performance
I bought this adapter for my M1 MacBook Air so I could properly test the speeds on my new 2Gb internet service. During installation, my old cheap USB‑C Ethernet adapter kept capping out at 1Gb, and even the tech suggested the adapter was the bottleneck. After he left, I ordered this UGREEN model. I’ve had great luck with their products before and it did not disappoint. It has a solid, heavier feel with what seems like a metal casing, and it worked instantly. macOS recognized it right away with no drivers needed. I simply turned off Wi‑Fi, plugged it in, connected the Ethernet cable, and I was online immediately. My very first speed test hit right at 2Gb, and it’s been consistently fast and stable ever since. I also haven’t noticed any heat issues at all. Overall, a fantastic upgrade and absolutely worth it if you need true multi‑gig speeds on a Mac.
