The Chair One (Re) adds an ingenious second tension line that works in concert with the first, spreading your body weight more evenly around the entire frame. Stronger, Taller & More Accessible
Helinox has redesigned the nylon resin hubs for improved stability, while the proprietary DAC aluminium alloy frame delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The frame sits taller than the original Chair One, making it easier to get in and out of — a welcome upgrade after a demanding day in the hills. Reinforced corners and an ergonomic profile ensure long-lasting structural integrity.
Sustainability at the Core
The Chair One (Re) reflects Helinox's commitment to more responsible manufacturing. The aluminium frame is crafted from repurposed scraps left on the factory floor — material that would otherwise have been discarded. The seat and carry case are made from bluesign®-certified and recycled 300D polyester, a high-performance fabric that meets rigorous environmental and safety standards without compromising on durability.
Lightweight & Packable
At just 1,020g assembled (1,115g with the carry case), the Chair One (Re) is light enough to justify a place in any pack. The compact, collapsible frame folds down into the included full-zip carry case measuring just 39cm × 13.5cm × 12cm, complete with a daisy chain and webbing handle for easy attachment to a rucksack or gear haul.
Effortless Set-Up
Shock-corded poles snap together intuitively, locking the frame into place in seconds. There are no loose parts to misplace and no complicated assembly — simply unfold, connect, and sit.
