De honingbes is een nog vrij onbekende superbes die langzaam haar weg vindt naar onze tuinen. Honingbessen lijken een beetje op kleine blauwe langwerpige bosbessen, maar hun smaak is een verrassende mix van bosbes, braam en framboos.

Met dit biologische pakket haal je vier toppers in je tuin: 'Boreal Blizzard', 'Honeybee', 'Aurora' en 'Strawberry Sensation'. Samen zorgen ze niet alleen voor een overvloed aan bessen, maar ook voor een oogst die zich over het hele seizoen uitstrekt. Omdat ze elkaar allemaal bestuiven, hoef je je geen zorgen te maken: jij plukt straks week na week de lekkerste, gezonde honingsbessen, recht uit je eigen tuin.

En het mooiste? Honingbessen zijn super makkelijk te telen. De struiken houden van zon, vragen weinig onderhoud en staan ook nog eens prachtig in de tuin met hun frisse groene blad en vrolijke bloesems. Zet ze samen in een hoekje en je creëert een klein honingbesparadijs waar je jaar na jaar van kunt oogsten.

Tips en verzorging:

  • Aanplant: september tot maart, daarna kan ook maar houdt er rekening mee dat je extra water zal moeten geven bij warm weer omdat wortels nog niet goed gesetteld zijn. Groeit als struik en heeft dus geen ondersteuning nodig.
  • Snoeien: moet in de herfst worden gesnoeid. Veel snoei hebben de planten echter niet nodig, zeker de eerste jaren niet. Word de plant echter te groot of loopt de opbrengst terug dan kan enige snoei nodig zijn
  • Volle grond of potten: je kan al het kleinfruit telen in potten, hoe groter de pot hoe beter ze het zullen doen. Ze zullen altijd beter groeien en meer vruchten produceren in de volle grond.

I don’t know what the bad reviews are about. This is a beautiful, well made 4 panel screen. The screen print appears to be a standard print that is likely the same on every screen they produce (not hand painted by two different people). It is beautiful. Everything about it, including the colors and the screen print image on rice paper, is more lovely than the photos. The wooden frame (black) is solid and sturdy. The hinges are stable and well positioned. When people say lightweight it sounds misleading. It is lightweight enough to easily maneuver but this four panel screen is sturdy and stable. It is slim and tall so someone could conceivably bump into it and jostle it. But no more so than any number of other items in one’s home. I highly recommend this beautiful, lovely, fine piece of home decor. I purchased this as a divider between my work station (office) and my living room. Also, even though there was a slight dent in the package when it was delivered, it wasn’t a deep enough gash to damage the screen. When I pulled the screen from the box my first thought was just how study it is. So very pleased with this purchase.
