De boorgaten zijn zorgvuldig aangebracht en afgestemd op solitaire bijen zoals metselbijen. Hierdoor bied je direct een geschikte nestplek, zonder risico op verkeerde diameters of splinters.

Het gebruikte hout is essenhout of spar, beide zijn houtsoorten die minder lang meegaan dan de andere bijenhotels die we aanbieden, echter dit is een andere prijsklasse.  Door de natuurlijke variatie in het hout en de vorm heeft ieder bijenblok een eigen karakter.
