Achtergrondinformatie: De ouders van Rene? Barbier begonnen in 1942 met met rijstbouw, maar er was altijd een droom om over te stappen op wijnbouw. De vader van Rene? kwam tenslotte uit een gerenommeerde wijnbouwfamilie. In 1975 besloten ze Domaine Grand Corbiere te kopen, maar de wijnstokken waren in een slechte conditie en ze moesten gerooid worden. Dan maar asperges verbouwen. Pas in het midden van de jaren 90 maakten ze de overstap naar wijnbouw. Eindelijk. De wijnen die ze maken, waren het waard om op te wachten.

It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
