Toergenjev laveert met Vaders en zonen tussen dandy’s en boeren, dienstmeiden, lijfeigenen en landheren, om te beschrijven waar vele anderen dikke romans voor nodig hadden: dat vroeger niet alles beter was, maar slechter evenmin. Het verhaal gaat dat Toergenjev, toen hij bij de slotregels van Vaders en zonen was aangekomen, het blad van zich af moest schuiven omdat anders zijn tranen de inkt onleesbaar zouden maken. Het laatste hoofdstuk is niet alleen de ontroerendste maar ook beste passage van dit onbetwiste meesterwerk, of misschien zelfs van de hele Russische literatuur.

I purchased a shirt for my fiancé for vacation wearing to church and just upscale casual wear around town and he loves it. He washed it and dried it and it looks good as new. He also thinks that it runs true to size and is comfortable to wear. The only note is that the fabric is a bit more thick than the other dress shirts that Amazon offers so it’s not optimal if the weather is very hot, otherwise the look is great

Pleasantly surprised with this shirt. More pink than in the pic. The material is a bit thicker than expected (like a thin canvas) but breathable and perfect for the summer. Perfect fit for my 240ish build (2XL). Highly recommended.
