Het familiebedrijf heeft in totaal ruim vijftig hectare in productie, verdeeld over vele, verschillende wijngaarden in de regio. Ze maken gebruik van een traditionele stijl van wijnmaken. Dat komt in de Elzas wel meer voor, maar Engel weet zich bijzonder te onderscheiden. Het terroir biedt, in combinatie met onder meer de aangeplante koningsrassen Riesling en Pinot Noir, enorm veel kansen om te focussen op de kwaliteit van de druiven en de wijn. De wijnstokken voor deze Riesling zijn aangeplant in donkere, kalkhoudende bodems met vijftien procent tot twintig procent granieten stenen. De wijngaarden liggen op het zuiden en oosten. De druivenstokken zijn 15, 19, 27 en 31 jaar oud. Na de oogst worden de hele trossen tegelijk geperst. De gisting vindt vervolgens in roestvrijstalen tanks plaats op een gecontroleerde temperatuur van 18-20 graden. Daarna rijpt de wijn nog acht maanden op de lie.Een complexe Riesling met romige textuur
Een uniek proces wat veel goed dat aan de smaak van deze wijn. Hij wordt hierdoor namelijk complexer en iets romiger van textuur. De geur is complex, bloemig, met veel fruit (appel, perzik) en enige mineraliteit. Door de kalk rijke bodems krijgt hij in de smaak en bloemig maar ook fris karakter, mooie tonen van geel en wit fruit aangevuld met groene kruiden, bloemen en een citrusschilletje.Shipping Notes

My puppy LOVES it!

This is the best thing! My 5 month old golden retriever lives his "King Kong". She chews on this for at least 10-15 minutes at a time. Loved it. And it doesn't show any wear at all. It's HEAVY so Mom watch out for toes when they drop it😁

They love these. For tough chewers and fun

The dogs love this. I have Pitbulls and a Cattle dog/Basset mix. It gets a lot of use.
If you've had BENEBONES. these will be a little different. They're a different material. But work the same. My dogs go after both these and the Benebones.
If you're wondering, these DO produce little sharp pieces of plastic material.
Always monitor your dogs.

Fun design, dog loved it but keeps getting teeth stuck so had to toss it out.

My dog likes this and I thought it was a great option. It's a fun character design. We ran into a problem though - she keeps getting her lower jaw/teeth stuck between the two arms of the ape. The distance between the fists is just wide enough to allow her teeth through it, but narrow enough that they get stuck and then she starts yelping until she figures out how to free her lower jaw. The first time, I thought it was a fluke. The second time, I took it away and tossed it. Maybe a future design could give more space between the fists.
