De Japanse Sierkers 'Sunset Boulevard' ook wel Prunus serrulata 'Sunset Boulevard' genoemd bloeit in de maand april. De bloemen zijn wit met een lichtroze gloed aan de randen en staan in groepjes van twee. Ze zijn enkelbloemig en verschijnen voordat het blad volledig is uitgelopen. Deze bloesems trekken veel bijen aan. Het loof is donkergroen van kleur en ovaal van vorm. De ‘Sunset Boulevard’ groeit opgaand en blijft vrij smal. De uiteindelijke hoogte bedraagt ongeveer 8 tot 10 meter. De boom houdt van een zonnige plek en groeit het beste in een goed doorlatende, lichtvochtige en vruchtbare bodem. Snoeien is niet noodzakelijk, maar als je de boom wilt vormen of verjongen, doe dit dan direct na de bloei (in juni). Dit voorkomt het zogenaamde 'bloeden' van de boom, wat kan optreden bij vroege voorjaarssnoei.

Beef Tallow Sunscreen
That dry, stretched sensation that I sometimes get from using other sunscreens was not something that I experienced with this one. On the contrary, I had the impression that my skin remained supple and pleasant throughout the morning. I used it prior to going about my errands, having a drive, going for a stroll outdoors, and spending time at the park. To my satisfaction, I did not feel the need to quickly apply another moisturizing lotion on top of the one I was using in order to restore the natural feel of my skin. Despite the fact that I was aware that I was wearing sunscreen, I did not feel any discomfort or want to wash my face straight away with it. Because I am quite particular about the products that I use on my face, I found that to be really helpful. In addition to having a sunscreen that is dependable, I want it to be something that I can really endure for a considerable amount of time.
