Dieprood van kleur, dat is het eerste wat opvalt bij deze Châteauneuf-du-Pape van het gerenommeerde huis E. Guigal. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is één van de beroemdste appellaties uit de Zuidelijke Rhône, en daar is deze wijn een prachtig voorbeeld van. Guigal, bekend om hun constante hoge kwaliteit, nam in 2017 Château de Nalys over. Hiermee brachten ze dit traditionele wijnhuis weer naar de top.

Wat je kunt verwachten? Een harmonieuze blend van Grenache, Syrah en Mourvèdre, de klassieke Châteauneuf-druiven. In de neus ontdek je rijpe rode vruchten, een vleugje kruidigheid (denk aan garrigue, de wilde kruiden uit de Provence) en een subtiele toets van de houtrijping. Op het palet is de wijn vol en rijk, met zachte tannines en een lange afdronk. Perfect bij een stevige stoofpot, gegrild rood vlees of een kaasplankje. Kortom, een heerlijke wijn om van te genieten!

Purchased a size large for a man 5’6 175 lbs with a small belly so peacoat double breasted look - looks great! Lining is standard and the grey color is very appealing. This is soft feeling coat made to look like wool without the heavy rougher wool feel. Only issue is that the coat comes packaged in a small bag and so when you open it the coat it totally wrinkled. You can knock out the wrinkles in the dryer with a wrinkle release dryer sheet or use a garment steamer but honestly the dryer trick is the key.
