De Roeno wijnmakerij ligt tussen de provincies Verona en Trentino in de gemeente Belluno, in de buurt van het Gardameer. Het werd vijftig jaar geleden opgericht door Rolando Fugatti en zijn vrouw Giuliana en wordt nu gezamenlijk geleid door hun kinderen Roberta, Cristina en Giuseppe. De oprichters zijn erin geslaagd om hun passie voor wijnbouw en hun gastvrijheid, die tot uiting komt in een aangesloten restaurant en pension, door te geven aan de volgende generatie. Nadat de broers en zussen de wijnmakerij hadden overgenomen, vroeg Guiseppe zijn jeugdvriend Mirko Maccami, die met succes verschillende wijnhuizen in het gebied adviseert, om de verantwoordelijkheid voor de vinificatie van de wijnen op zich te nemen. Samen met zus Christina, ook een opmerkelijke oenoloog, werkt Mirko met toewijding en aandacht voor detail aan het succes van de wijnmakerij. Na de handmatige oogst worden de druiven ontsteeld en zacht gekneusd. Daarna wordt het sap vergist in roestvrijstalen tanks op een gecontroleerde temperatuur met een schilweking. De druiven worden hierbij regelmatig overgepompt om zo voldoende kleur en tannine te verkrijgen. Na de gisting rijpt de wijn een paar maanden op Frans eikenhout. In de geur intens en fruitig met rode en zwarte bessen tonen. In de smaak is deze I Dossi Teroldego Vallagarina Roeno vol en krachtig met een fris karakter. Mooie smaken van rood en zwart fruit zoals bramen, kersen en besjes aangevuld met lichte kruiden en vanille. Heerlijk in combinatie met rood vlees en kruidige oude kazen.Shipping Notes

I liked them, toddler did not

I thought these were cute shoes. They were sturdy, protective, and flexible for little walkers. And they were pretty soft on the inside to wear without socks. Unfortunately, my two year old did not agree. He cried "don't like it" and immediately ripped them off every time I tried them on him. Maybe it's just my picky son. TTS/half size big.

Great looking shoe!

We got these sandals specifically for our Caribbean vacation over thanksgiving break. They run true to size but I did get them one size bigger to hopefully last for next summer as well. They look great on and go with everything! My son said they feel very comfortable on his feet and he likes easy on/off due to Velcro closure.
