Coravin is een revolutionair wijnsysteem, opgericht in 2011 door Greg Lambrecht. Het stelt je in staat om wijn uit te schenken zonder de kurk te verwijderen, zodat de wijn altijd vers blijft. Dankzij de unieke Coravin-naald wordt de kurk niet beschadigd en veert deze terug naar zijn originele vorm. Terwijl de wijn door de naald wordt getrokken, wordt deze vervangen door Argon-gas, waardoor oxidatie wordt voorkomen. Voor wijnen met schroefdoppen verlengt Coravin de levensduur tot drie maanden met speciale siliconen schroefdoppen, die tot vijftig keer doorboord kunnen worden zonder de naald te hoeven vervangen.

Het nieuwste en meest geavanceerde model van Coravin, ontworpen voor de echte wijnliefhebber. Dit model wordt standaard geleverd met drie gascapsules, zes screwcaps, een praktische Carry Case en een Aerator voor een perfect glas wijn, elke keer weer. Dankzij de geavanceerde technologie kun je genieten van je wijn zonder de fles te openen, zodat de rest van de inhoud in optimale conditie blijft. 

Het Model Six+ is verkrijgbaar in drie stijlvolle kleuren: Burgundy, zilver en zwart zodat je kunt kiezen welke het beste bij je smaak en interieur past. Geniet van de ultieme wijnervaring met dit premium apparaat, dat zowel functionaliteit als design biedt.

De Coravin werkt als volgt:

  1. Naald door de kurk: Je steekt de dunne, holle naald van de Coravin door de kurk van de wijnfles. De naald is zo ontworpen dat de kurk niet beschadigd wordt, waardoor deze weer goed afsluit na gebruik.

  2. Gasinjectie: Via de naald wordt er argon-gas (een inert gas) in de fles gepompt. Dit gas zorgt ervoor dat de wijn niet in contact komt met zuurstof, wat oxidatie zou veroorzaken en de wijn zou bederven.

  3. Wijn uitschenken: Terwijl het gas in de fles wordt gepompt, creëert het druk die de wijn door de naald naar buiten duwt. Je kunt nu een glas wijn inschenken zonder de fles te openen.

  4. Herstel van de kurk: Na het uitschenken wordt de naald verwijderd, en de kurk sluit zichzelf weer. De fles blijft dus afgesloten, waardoor de wijn voor langere tijd vers blijft.

Het hele proces zorgt ervoor dat je wijn kunt proeven zonder de fles te openen, zodat de rest van de inhoud niet wordt aangetast door lucht en je meerdere keren van dezelfde fles kunt genieten.

This toy is great for relentless chewers with strong jaws! It would be almost perfect if it didn't have a "K9" logo in raised rubber on it. That is the place that my aggressive chewer shepherd/bulldog mix focuses on and is able to get small chunks off. Without that logo, he would chew the ball more evenly, instead of fixating on that one spot. He loves this ball and has chewed on it for about an hour off & on each of the 11 days he has had it. Although it is very durable so far, the flaw is the upraised logo.

i love that a sock that lets your toes be free is even a thing that exists. i love that this company was started by a young girl, now turned young businesswoman. i have pain in my big toes, so i can't wear close toed anything, but feet get stinky if you wear shoes/slippers all the time without socks. this is a great solution. the only thing i find slightly annoying (not enough to stop using these) is the seam on the bottom of your foot, near the base of the toes. it is a straight line, which is fine on the top of the foot, but i wish the bottom itself curved a bit, to follow the line of the toes. as it is, the seam lands right in the middle if the ball of my feet, so i can feel the seams everytime i take a step. i am constantly pulling the seam toward the toes, to try to keep from feeling it, but then my pinky toe gets caught and balled up on the inside. outside of that slight annoyance, they're comfortable and fit well.
