De GIRO HELIOS MIPS SPHERICAL is een topklasse racefietshelm die veiligheid, comfort en prestaties combineert voor veeleisende fietsers. Hij is ontworpen om optimale bescherming te bieden en is voorzien van sferische technologie in combinatie met het MIPS® Brain Protection System, dat in staat is de rotatiekrachten die bij een botsing op de hersenen worden overgebracht te verminderen. Dit innovatieve kogel-en-pocket ontwerp zorgt ervoor dat de buitenschaal lichtjes rond de binnenschaal draait om energie efficiënt af te voeren, terwijl het algehele comfort van de helm wordt verbeterd.

Voor een uitgebreidere schokbeheersing bij verschillende snelheden is de helm ook voorzien van Progressive Layering™-technologie, waarbij verschillende EPS-dichtheden worden gebruikt om de schokabsorptie te optimaliseren. Ventilatie wordt geleverd door 15 ventilatieopeningen in combinatie met Wind Tunnel Internal Channeling, die koele lucht rond de schedel leidt voor effectieve koeling, zelfs tijdens intense ritten.

De helm is snel, gemakkelijk en nauwkeurig af te stellen dankzij het Roc Loc® 5 Air Fit-systeem, waarmee je de spanning en kanteling van de helm met slechts één hand kunt aanpassen. Het binnenwerk is voorzien van antimicrobiële IONIC+® pads die transpiratie absorberen en geurtjes voorkomen, voor optimaal comfort over alle afstanden.
