Wat als eerste opvalt is het ruige etiket van Poison Rosé. Geen alledaagse fles, maar uitgesproken, van top tot teen. De basis van deze rosé wijn is de Pinot Noir druif. Deze groeit op de mooiste wijngaarden die Vignobles Vellas in haar bezit heeft. Maar liefst 120 hectare wijngaarden het Vignobles Vellas in haar bezit. Daarnaast heeft zij al jarenlang duurzame banden met diverse wijnboeren in de Rhone vallei en in de Provence. Fruitig, vriendelijk maar bovenal ontzettend lekker. Na een enkele slok van Vignobles Vellas Poison Rosé Pinot Noir kun je de rest van de fles niet meer weerstaan. De Pinot Noir druiven worden geplukt van speciaal geselecteerde wijngaarden en ondergaan een traditionele vergisting. Er is slechts kort schil contact, waardoor de Poison Rosé zo aantrekkelijk van kleur is. De geur is waanzinnig te noemen: vers rood fruit met wulpse tonen van snoepjes. De expressieve smaak is een klein feestje. Zachte aardbeien en verse frambozen kietelen je smaakpapillen. Awesome!
I have tried so many ways of keeping my coffee beans fresh. This cannister is the winner! It is a very high quality container made of Borosilicate Glass which has provided me the protection I need in order to maintain freshness. I am happy, beyond description, with how well this works! The wide mouth allows easy access to the beans until the last is used. And when it is time to clean it, I can easily wipe it out as well as put it in the dishwasher since it is also dish washer safe. I will consider getting a second one for storing other items that I want to keep fresh as well as visible (like cookies, etc).

For serious coffee connoisseurs
I got this coffee canister because I know that my coffee connoisseur, son will be staying at our home for a few months this spring. He invests in very good quality coffee beans and grinds his portions as needed. I know that this glass vacuum type jar will do the trick in keeping the beans fresh so that the oils don't dry out. My husband and I use a flip top hinged canister for our more regular grind and the speed at which my husband drinks coffee means that it's usually quite fresh without the vacuum additional feature. I would caution that it took a hot minute to figure out how it work and wasn't easy to get open the first time outta the blocks. Read the instructions so you get familiar with home the air is extracted and how to release the pressure to open the canister.

Not what I expected
For the price, I thought this was a real air release coffee jar. The kind you can use a vacuum sealer on that really gets out all of the air. This is one of the press pump types. For most, this would be efficient, but I make espresso and need the freshest beans. I roast myself and need them to maintain their freshness and this doesn’t quite do it for me.

Thin glass but good container
My biggest worry with this container is that it is such thin glass. I fear if I were to hit it the wrong way or it even fell a foot it would shatter. The seal is very good though and holds my coffee beans. It is easy to open and seal. I have no issues with it and it does what it is intended for other than it being a bit thin.
