De werkzame stof in Shiepz Melatonine is melatonine. Deze stof behoort tot een natuurlijke groep hormonen die door het lichaam worden aangemaakt.
Waarvoor wordt dit product gebruikt
Voor de behandeling van jetlag bij volwassenen. Jetlag is een stoornis van het slaap-waakritme, die kan optreden na het passeren van meerdere tijdzones door een vliegreis.

Werkzame bestanddelen
Elk tablet van 5 mg bevat 5 mg melatonine.
Hulpstoffen
calciumwaterstoffosfaatdihydraat, microkristallijne cellulose, magnesiumstearaat, watervrij colloïdaal siliciumdioxide en voorverstijfseld zetmeel.
Dosering
De aanbevolen dosering is dagelijks één tablet van 3 mg gedurende maximaal 4 dagen. De eerste dosis moet worden ingenomen bij aankomst op de plaats van bestemming op uw gebruikelijke bedtijd (lokale tijd). De dosis op de dagen erna moet ook op uw gebruikelijke bedtijd worden ingenomen. Als de standaarddosis van 3 mg de symptomen niet genoeg vermindert, kan in plaats van de tablet van 3 mg één tablet van 5 mg worden ingenomen op de lokale bedtijd. De tablet van 5 mg mag niet extra worden ingenomen naast de tablet van 3 mg, maar een hogere dosis mag worden ingenomen op de dagen erna. De maximale dagelijkse dosis is 5 mg eenmaal daags. De dosis die de symptomen voldoende verlicht, moet gedurende de kortste tijd worden ingenomen. Het is belangrijk dat melatonine op het juiste moment wordt ingenomen. Als u de tablet op het verkeerde tijdstip inneemt, kan melatonine slaperigheid veroorzaken en aanpassing aan de lokale tijd vertragen. Daarom mogen de tabletten niet voor 20:00 uur en na 04:00 uur worden ingenomen. De tabletten moeten worden doorgeslikt met een glas water. Het advies is om niets te eten 2 uur vóór en in de 2 uur na het geplande moment van het innemen van melatonine. Neem contact op met een arts als de symptomen binnen 6 dagen niet verbeteren of erger worden. U kunt de tablet van 5 mg in gelijke doses verdelen.

Decent pillow; medium-firm; heavy

I was looking to replace my old latex pillow from BBB. I have tried several but finding just the right one has been elusive. Although expensive, I was confident this would be THE one. Sadly, it isn't. For a latex pillow, this IS really nice. It is comfortable and solid latex - hard to find. It is medium-firm and has decent spring back. But for me, it doesn't have enough sink. It is actually too firm and I felt my neck was cranked all night (I am 5'6", 135#, side sleeper, ordered the 6.5" one). I do think the cooling Purple grid works pretty well but at the same time, I could feel the grid under my pillow case. The pillow is very heavy.

It’s $30 to return and quickly STINKS from body heat

Original review about $30 return below, but since it cost to return I gave it to my husband. He’s a hot sleeper so other than this pillow we’ve switched to all cotton, linen or wool bedding and it’s made a huge difference. (Polyester is plastic so it reflects your heat back to you and makes you sweat more and doesn’t breathe.)
I truly would not have kept this pillow except $30 felt like a waste just to return and he got excited about it. So okay, it’s his. Well I’m the laundry queen in our household (he does all dishes) and I realized very quickly this pillow would need to be washed OFTEN. Like, once a week is NOT enough.
Something about body heat and this material smells HORRIBLE.
Washing it is obviously not easy, so I handwash the outer layer of the pillow with a very gentle soap (bought for silk). And then it has to hang dry.
It doesn’t matter. I can clean it perfectly, no smell remaining whatsoever, but after two nights, it’s so strong I can smell it JUST STANDING NEAR THE BED.
Look. I mentioned my hubs sleeps hot, sure. But he’s hygienic. This should not be such an issue. It’s never been an issue with any other pillows. The smell doesn’t even smell like him or like B.O. or anything. It’s awful and legitimately churns my stomach.
But can I throw out the stupid $200 thing? Noooo. Now he’s attached. And I’m spending hours of my life each week washing it to keep from feeling sick sleeping near it at night. And to avoid having wasted $200. Hate this thing.
DON’T BUY THIS STUPID PILLOW. Dropping from 2 stars to 1 Because of the smell.

I thought I could buy this and see if the height would work for me. It didn’t, and pinched my neck instead. But now the *only* way to return it is to ship through UPS (not return to the UPS Store or Kohl’s or Whole Foods, which would be free).
I was going to return it and try a different size, but such a high price just to *try* it is not worth it to me.
I’ve returned much larger (defective) items in the past without hassle or cost (like an entire heavy duty garage shelf with broken pieces).
Had I known, I would not have ordered in the first place, so I hope this saves someone else.
As for the pillow itself, it was unique, but I couldn’t even really lay my head on it for more than a moment until I had let it air out for more than a week. It REEKED upon arrival. My husband said it smelled like ozone, and my brother compared it to the inside of an airplane. It burned my throat if I tried to lay on it for more than about 30 seconds at a time. Two and a half weeks later, the smell is still slightly there.
So even if it was comfy for me, I would not keep this pillow.

The best pillow for side and back sleeping

Best pillow ever

I have to say, after decades of buying all sorts of pillows, trying to work for me and my short neck, this is THE one.
I bought the low profile ones and OMG it is just perfect for me. I'm finally getting a good nights sleep without fighting a pillow that is too firm or doubling a pillow that is too soft and thin. It's also not as heavy as other memory foam pillows I've tried. I hate a heavy pillow. Yet, it isn't so light weight that it gets pushed off the bed easily if you change positions a lot during the night.
