Handgemaakte poef Onze poefs zijn handgemaakt van hoogwaardig echt leer en met liefde gemaakt door een coöperatie van ambachtslieden in Marokko. Individuele stukken leer worden aan elkaar gestikt en vervolgens versierd met ingewikkeld handnaaiwerk. De leren poef wordt in de zon gezeten en geolied om de mooie gebruinde kleur te krijgen, of met de hand geverfd tot een op maat gemaakt kleurenpalet met behulp van natuurlijke, plantaardige materialen. Ze worden van begin tot eind volledig met de hand gemaakt, met dezelfde traditionele technieken die tientallen jaren meegaan. Houd er rekening mee dat natuurlijke kleurvariaties, rimpels en vouwen deel uitmaken van de unieke kenmerken van leer en alleen maar schoonheid en karakter toevoegen. Entertaining, informative, without being overwhelming.

Got it for, basically, half-off standard retail. At that price, it's a fine addition to the WWII library. Some interesting information displayed in a mostly entertaining way. I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
