Over de fabrikant:
Vereco is een merknaam van het Franse Saint-Gobain dat ook Duralex produceert. Sinds 1945 produceren zijn getemperd glas (= extra gehard) onder beide merknamen. Na de 2e wereldoorlog maakte het bedrijf furore met zijn gebruiksvriendelijke producten. In de jaren '90 braken moeilijkere tijden aan en werd het merk verkocht aan een Italiaans bedrijf, maar het gehoopte succes bleef uit. De merknaam Vereco werd toen ook afgevoerd, alles werd Duralex. In 2008 werd het bedrijf gered door nieuwe investeerders, waarna het in 2021 wed overgenomen door concurrent Pyrex.

Works as intended. I bought it mostly for the Ethernet adapter which was plug and play with the latest installation of Fedora Linux and uses an AX88179 Gigabit Ethernet chipset. The Ethernet portion does not have activity lights. A bit of a lazy omission. Port locations are smartly placed with the HDMI output and power input at the back facing one direction, and the Type A USB peripheral ports facing the other. This is great for cable routing. The single Type C port is only for power delivery. It will not work for data to connect other peripherals.
