Het rotan is zowel natuurlijk als synthetisch, zodat de stoelen geschikt zijn voor binnen en buiten. Het weven van rotan is een traditioneel ambacht dat van generatie op generatie wordt doorgegeven. In en rond de stad Cirebon in Indonesië maken families hun rotanweefsels wanneer ze niet op het land werken. Dit vakwerk wordt soms volledig in fabrieken gedaan, maar vaak ook deels thuis, door bekwame wevers.Voor buitengebruik wordt synthetisch rotan toegepast, gemaakt van HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). Dit materiaal is waterdicht, UV-bestendig, licht, sterk en bestand tegen hitte en chemische stoffen. Bovendien is het recyclebaar en veilig in gebruik.

Onderhoud
De Jane stoel vraagt nauwelijks onderhoud. Veeg de stoel af met een licht vochtige doek om stof en vuil te verwijderen.

Great product, sturdy and well made. Easy assembly.

These are awesome! They were easy to assemble. They are lightweight and easy to move. I was able to easily put all 6 pieces -(I ordered two sets)-into the back of my SUV at once, by myself (and I'm a short, older lady). Quality material. Very sturdy and steady. The first set I opened was a used one and did not include instructions, but it was still very easy to assemble and figure out. I recommend using a battery powered screwdriver. With that, the assembly of all 6 panels took less than 45 minutes.
