De SOPHIOR deksel van 24 cm is gemaakt van gehard veiligheidsglas met een robuuste roestvrijstalen rand. Het transparante glas geeft je altijd zicht op wat er in de pan gebeurt zonder de deksel op te hoeven tillen en warmte te verliezen. Het geïntegreerde stoomventiel laat overtollige stoom gecontroleerd ontsnappen en voorkomt overdruk en spatten. De deksel past op pannen met een diameter van 24 cm en is ovenbestendig tot 260°C en vaatwasserbestendig.

Wat is het voordeel van een stoomventiel in een pannendeksel?

Zonder stoomventiel bouwt zich druk op onder een gesloten deksel bij gerechten met veel vocht, zoals een curry, stoofpotje of risotto. Die druk kan de deksel optillen of laten rammelen, waardoor warmte verloren gaat. Een stoomventiel laat overtollige druk gecontroleerd ontsnappen terwijl de deksel op de pan blijft.
