Over de auteur

Elke Bleyaert is ondernemer en inspirator binnen de wielerwereld. Als founder van The Female Cycling Tribe brengt ze vrouwen samen rond hun passie voor fietsen en creëert ze een veilige, motiverende community waar sport, vriendschap en persoonlijke groei centraal staan. Ze is daarnaast ook de partner van profrenner Jasper Stuyven, maar bouwt vooral haar eigen verhaal uit binnen en buiten het peloton.

Maar haar weg begon niet op het asfalt. Elke is opgeleid als kleuterjuf en stond drie jaar met hart en ziel in het onderwijs. Die liefde voor kinderen en haar pedagogische achtergrond komen nu opnieuw samen in een bijzonder project.

Met haar verhaal Louise fietst! wil Elke jonge meisjes én jongens inspireren om te dromen, te durven en vooral te fietsen. Het verhaal moedigt hen aan om stap voor stap zelfvertrouwen op te bouwen, plezier te vinden in bewegen en te geloven in hun eigen kracht.
