Curasept ADS DNA 220 Mondwater bevat het PVPVA copolymeer, dat een beschermende film vormt op de tanden en het tandvlees en door een mechanische werking de symptomen helpt verlichten die veroorzaakt worden door de irritatie van het mondslijmvlies. De aanwezigheid van 0,2% chloorhexidinedigluconaat zorgt ook voor een effectieve antiseptische werking op de filmvormende component. De aanwezigheid van DNA-fracties verhoogt de viscositeit van de oplossingen en de hydratatie van de slijmvliezen, wat resulteert in een betere trofisme. Het werkt lokaal en veroorzaakt geen brandend gevoel.
