De Airtec Motorsport Stage 2 Intercooler voor de Ford Focus RS Mk2 is ontwikkeld voor bestuurders die maximale koelprestaties verlangen van hun getunede 2.5 Turbo. Dankzij een grotere intercoolerkern en verbeterde airflow biedt deze upgrade een aanzienlijke stap vooruit ten opzichte van zowel de originele intercooler als de Airtec Stage 1 uitvoering.

Om vermogensverlies tijdens langdurige belasting te voorkomen maakt deze intercooler gebruik van een enorme 65 mm high-flow kern. De kern is bijna twee keer zo hoog als de originele intercooler en bijna 100 mm langer, wat resulteert in een indrukwekkende 127% groter frontaal oppervlak ten opzichte van het OEM systeem.

De geïntegreerde Air Ram Scoop leidt rijwind rechtstreeks door de intercoolerkern om de koelcapaciteit verder te verhogen. In combinatie met de smooth-flow end tanks en de geïntegreerde luchtgeleider ontstaat een uiterst efficiënte luchtstroom die zorgt voor lagere inlaattemperaturen en meer consistente prestaties tijdens sportief straatgebruik en circuitgebruik.

Tijdens tests werden de prestaties van de Stage 2 intercooler direct vergeleken met de Airtec Stage 1 uitvoering. Ondanks een hogere inkomende luchttemperatuur van 149°C wist de Stage 2 de uitgaande temperatuur terug te brengen naar slechts 26°C, tegenover 34°C bij de Stage 1 intercooler.

Daarnaast werd een winst gemeten van 20 pk in het middengebied en 40 nm extra koppel, uitsluitend door de overstap van de Stage 1 naar de Stage 2 intercooler.

De intercooler wordt geleverd in een duurzame Pro-Series Black poedercoating en wordt ondersteund door Airtec's 3 jaar garantie.

Om de prestaties van de grotere intercooler optimaal te benutten wordt deze kit aangevuld met de Airtec Motorsport 2.5 inch Big Boost Pipes. Deze leidingen vervangen het restrictievere OEM leidingwerk en zorgen voor een grotere luchtstroom tussen turbo, intercooler en motor. Dankzij de grotere diameter wordt de weerstand in het systeem verlaagd, waardoor de turbo efficiënter kan werken en de motor sneller reageert op gasinput.

Let op: meegeleverd leidingwerk wordt uitsluitend geleverd in zwarte uitvoering.

Wonderful, but also couldn't stand up to the funk

This was my first time using this brand and I used it faithfully for about 9 months. I've been using more natural and aluminum-free deodorants for several years now. I have sensitive underarms so I stay away from "clinical strength" or a lot of chemicals. I've tried both ladies' and men's brands (I'm a woman) and they only seem to work for a little while before they completely stop working and I have to switch to something new (or back to an old one). I decided to give this one a try after seeing it pop up on Amazon a lot and also because the one I was using isn't sold in stores and would sometimes take a week or more to get to me. My first impression of this deodorant was that I like the compact, round packaging and how easy it is to use (the bottom twists very smoothly). Secondly, IT SMELLS AMAZING. Black rose and Oud is such a delicious scent - lightly floral, sweet, a little powdery, and a little musky. Every time I applied it, I kept falling more in love with the scent. And it also applied to my underarms very smoothly and without any pulling or roughness. It's worth noting that I started using this deodorant during a heat wave; we had about three weeks of temperatures between 90-100 degrees F with 75-95% humidity. Surprise surprise, this deodorant held up! Mind you, it's deodorant and not antiperspirant, so, yes, I did sweat, but, no, I did not smell. I applied it once a day (or the night before) and had no issues. This deodorant also held up exceptionally when I was exercising and it did not leave me smelling bad at all after workouts. Now, where this deodorant DID NOT HOLD UP is when it came to hormone changes and (emotional) stress. Whenever that time of the month came around, the deodorant significantly weakened and I had to apply it again during the day. For me, that's actually normal and I pretty much have that happen with any deodorant. It's performance during stress was pretty terrible though. I went through a few months of intense mental/emotional stress and this deodorant completely failed me. The second I got anxious or stressed out, my armpits would start to pool and turn into a swampy mess and I would immediately smell terrible. Not once did the deodorant hold up to my stress sweat or funk, which was very disappointing since I liked it very much outside of that one issue. I ended up just throwing it away (since I wasn't sure when the stress would stop) and going back to my previous deodorant that worked wonderfully, now sells on Amazon, and I highly recommend: Kosas! It is pricey like this one, but the main selling point for me is that it contains AHA and BHAs that stop the funk and also brighten (and keep bright) the underarm area. It also neutralizes razor burn.
