Wat Jaime ook bijzonder maakt is dat hij alleen schilderijen op tegels maakt. De kunstwerken worden met hittebestendige inkt direct op een blanke ongebakken tegel geschilderd en vervolgens elk afzonderlijk afgebakken bij een temperatuur van 1010°C. Hierna zijn ze kleurvast, watervast en beschermd tegen verwering. Hierdoor zijn ze zelfs buitenshuis te gebruiken.
