I've been testing out Nylabones the last couple months for my chihuahua puppy. He's a heavy chewer and too easily tears apart many of them, then others are too hard and I take them away because I fear for his teeth. This set is his favorite so far. I like that these are just a little chewy without being too soft, but I still recommend keeping an eye on them as even my puppy has managed to start to get little pieces off. But it's more as frayed strings than chunk like I've had happen with some of the softer ones.
