De Wagner Competition intercooler kit is ontwikkeld voor de Mini Cooper S (R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, R61) en zorgt voor een optimale luchtstroom en koeling met een aanzienlijke toename in prestaties. De montage verloopt via een eenvoudige plug & play vervanging van de fabrieksintercooler, zonder grote aanpassingen.

Met netafmetingen van 550 mm x 210 mm x 110 mm (getrapt, 12,70 liter) biedt deze intercooler een 230% grotere instroomoppervlakte en 190% meer laadluchtvolume dan de standaard koeler. Het Competition-hoogvermogennet zorgt voor voldoende luchtstroom naar aangrenzende componenten zoals de waterkoeler. De in CAD ontwikkelde vrijevorm gegoten aluminium eindkasten optimaliseren de interne luchtstroom en minimaliseren de tegendruk. Met slechts 5,6 kg is de koeler licht en eenvoudig te monteren, en de hoogwaardige anti-corrosiecoating met warmtegeleidende eigenschappen garandeert een langdurige en optimale koeling. De kit past plug & play op de Mini Cooper S Clubman R55/R56 Facelift (2009-2014, incl. JCW), Cabrio R57 Facelift (2009-2015, incl. JCW), Coupé R58 (2010-2015, incl. JCW), Roadster R59 (2011-2015), Countryman R60 (2010-2016) en Paceman R61 (2012-2016). Met lichte aanpassingen aan de bumper is hij ook geschikt voor de pre-facelift modellen R55-R57 (2006-2010).
